Art has played a strong role in Jennifer’s life since childhood. Though she strayed a bit, attempting and failing at science, the siren call of art brought her back. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Houston in 2002, graduating summa cum laude.
Jennifer currently resides in Houston, TX and can be found at the First Saturday Arts Market in the Heights, September-May.
I’m easy to find at the market, because I’m usually dancing with my hula hoop.
I enjoy the challenge of learning new skills and have explored several different mediums and techniques. While my work is constantly evolving most of it centers around nature and organic shapes.
Current Focus
Currently I’ve been focusing on my Cigar Box series where I create tiny worlds inside of the boxes.
I’ve had a love for the miniature since I was a kid and it all started one Christmas when I got a train set, HO scale.
