I started bubbling in 2012 when I read a blurb about giant bubbles, it caught my interest and I had to try it out. \u00a0 The more I tried, the more I enjoyed the process. \u00a0Then, what started out as a curiosity turned into a passion and eventually extra income.\u00a0<\/p>

I used to bubble down by Brays Bayou a few times a week when I lived nearby, I had such wonderful experiences. \u00a0The wind would take my bubbles up so high and they would fill the sky, so that I felt like I was underwater. \u00a0Sometimes the wind would stretch and contort the bubbles in a wild swirling dance. \u00a0Other times, when the breeze was gentle, the bubbles would dip into the water momentarily and then rise back up, refreshed from their drink. \u00a0A favorite memory of that time was when a car passed by with a large dog in the passenger seat. \u00a0The dog was watching the bubbles intently, with a look of WTF on its face. \u00a0Still makes me laugh.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

I have made some pretty big bubbles, something you don’t get to see when kids are around<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

I have tried many different solutions in my search for the best bubble solution that can be made at home. \u00a0Of course the best soap to use is Dawn Original. \u00a0As for the other ingredients of baking powder and glycerin, they are not enough to create lasting giant bubbles on their own. A binder was needed. I tried corn syrup, corn starch, lubricant and a few others, but I wasn\u2019t happy with the results. \u00a0Then I discovered guar gum, a baking additive and that was the magic ingredient. Adding guar gum to my bubble mixture increased the viscosity and made my bubbles gelatinous.\u00a0 The bubbles were lasting longer and I was able to get giant complete bubbles off of the string.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
