Tips and Suggestions for Giant Bubbles
- Micro bubbles in the solution will pop your giant bubbles. Gently stirring after the detergent is added and letting the solution sit for a day will reduce the problem.
- Foam is inevitable, it’s soap. When using the bubble wand in the solution, simply dip it in and pull it out. Stirring with the wand will cause foam and you won’t get big bubbles.
- Any bucket or tub can be used to hold the solution, but more surface area means more foam. Tall narrow buckets are better than wide tubs.
- Use only what you need and keep the rest stored in an air tight container. The solution gets ruined from organic matter like bugs and oil from skin. The unused portion can be kept for months.
- Sedimentation is natural and will not ruin the solution, stir gently before use.
- When you are outside and ready to make your giant bubbles, keep your back to the wind.
- Gentle movements work best to prevent popping your bubble.
