For those of you familiar with the movie, “The NeverEnding Story”, you understand the reference.
For those of you that don’t, there is a scene in the movie where a character is leading his horse, Artax, through the Swamp of Sadness. They have to keep going so that the sadness doesn’t overtake them. At one point you see the reins go taught and notice that Artax is sinking into the swamp.
