My mother is Prussian and loves the land of the Tsars. For their 50th wedding anniversary my parents went on their dream trip.
My gift to them was this painting.
Painting buildings and structures generally isn’t my thing, but this was a special reason.
I added gold metal leafing to the onion domes on the towers, which adds another effect to the painting. The gold glows in low light, bringing more life.
